]]> ELEMENTS-spokesperson Luciano Rezzolla, Professor for Theoretical Astrophysics at Goethe-University, has been awarded an honorary professorship for his close collaboration with the academic community of New Uzbekistan University and his significant contributions to the fields of physics and astrophysics on a global scale.

The award was presented to Luciano Rezzolla on the occasion of a master class on black holes he organized at the New Uzbekistan University. This master class was attended by people interested in physics and astrophysics.

]]> Meytal Duer has recently been appointed to a professorship at the Technical University in Darmstadt. Her position is located at the Department of Physics where she focuses her research on experimental nuclear physics.

One of Meytal Duer’s groundbreaking achievements in her career was the the discovery of an isolated multi-neutron system which was described in the Nature article “Observation of a correlated free four-neutron system”.

Meytal Duer has previously worked as a Young Investigator Group Leader in ELEMENTS and served as Early Career Researcher Representative. She continues her collaboration with the research cluster in her new position.
