Sie nehmen an einer Live-Tour zum Teilchenbeschleuniger <a href=\"https:\/\/elements.science\/facilities\/\">S-DALINAC<\/a> in Darmstadt teil,  mit dem Elektronen auf nahezu Lichtgeschwindigkeit beschleunigt werden k\u00f6nnen. Sie ist eine von weniger als 100 Schwarzen Amerikanerinnen, die im Fachbereich Physik promoviert haben und arbeitet als theoretische Physikerin in den Bereichen Teilchenphysik, Kosmologie und Astrophysik. Michaela Arnold zeigt uns den Teilchenbeschleuniger in Darmstadt auf einer virtuellen F\u00fchrung. Hier werden Elektronen auf nahezu Lichtgeschwindigkeit beschleunigt und zum Beispiel untersucht, wie die Elemente im Universum entstanden sind. Danach haben die Sch\u00fclerinnen die Gelegenheit, selbst das Universum zu \u201cerforschen\u201d und verschiedene Physikerinnen kennenzulernen.
