        "rendered": "<p>At the end of May, ELEMENTS submitted a draft proposal for the upcoming round of the German federal and state governments&#8217; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dfg.de\/en\/research_funding\/announcements_proposals\/2022\/info_wissenschaft_22_94\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Excellence Strategy<\/a>. For the past two years, we carefully prepared the proposal with the <a href=\"https:\/\/wissenschaft.hessen.de\/Presse\/Hessen-bereitet-seine-Universitaeten-auf-die-naechste-Runde-der-Exzellenzstrategie-vor\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">support of the Hessian Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science and the Arts<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The application is <a href=\"https:\/\/aktuelles.uni-frankfurt.de\/english\/excellence-strategy-goethe-university-frankfurt-enters-competition-with-four-new-and-one-existing-research-cluster\/?highlight=ELEMENTS\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lead by Goethe University<\/a>, with TU Darmstadt as co-applicant. Along with the GSI Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research in Darmstadt, the Frankfurt Institute for Advanced Studies (FIAS) and the Max Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy in Bonn joined the project.
