The Research Cluster ELEMENTS is working on building an outstanding and internationally visible joint Master’s in “Relativistic Astrophysics” at the three Rhine-Main-Universities (RMU), Goethe University Frankfurt am Main (GU), Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (JGU), and Technische Universität Darmstadt (TUD).
By combining our expertise in the areas of
- Astronomy and Astrophysics
- Computational Physics
- Gravitational Physics
- Nuclear Physics
- Particle Physics
under the umbrella of the RMU alliance, and by collecting and integrating courses that are already given at these three universities, we strive to provide an innovative, captivating, and international training program for our students.

The MSc will be targeting outstanding students from German universities and abroad via specific calls, who will represent a new generation of scientists tackling some of the most challenging but also most fascinating questions in modern physics and astrophysics.
