On 9 February 2022 (start at 4 p.m. ct.), Professor Eleonora Troja from the University of Rome will give a talk at the physics colloquium of Goethe University Frankfurt. In her talk “Studying neutron star mergers from a new perspective”, she will present recent results from the observations of gravitational wave sources, including our long-term monitoring campaign of GW170817, and discuss complementary constraints from short duration gamma-ray bursts at cosmological distances. The colloquium will be hosted by Professor Luciano Rezzolla, Speaker of ELEMENTS.
