Two researchers, a moderator, (a bar counter), and live music: In this unconventional science talk by Goethe University Frankfurt, the conversation revolves around scientific breakthroughs and flops, triumphs and frustrations, and most importantly, what drives people to expand the foundations of our knowledge.

Guests include ELEMENTS-astrophysicist Camilla Juul Hansen and political scientist Cord Schmelzle, who will share what motivates them in their research. Their topics are “From the Big Bang to the Present: How the Milky Way Was Formed” and “How Much Morality Can Democracy Endure.”
